About us

Thrive Women’s Festival is a free, one-day celebration of the strength, diversity, and resilience of women from all walks of life. Held in the heart of Melbourne at Federation Square, this vibrant event champions inclusion, cultural pride, and female empowerment through a dynamic program of live performances, keynote talks, storytelling, creative showcases, and practical workshops.

Empowering Voices, Celebrating Diversity

Thrive provides a platform for marginalised women—particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds—to be seen, heard, and celebrated. From refugee voices to First Nations wisdom, this is a festival built on intersectionality, lived experience, and shared strength.

Our Vision

Thrive provides a platform for marginalised women—particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds—to be seen, heard, and celebrated. From refugee voices to First Nations wisdom, this is a festival built on intersectionality, lived experience, and shared strength.

Our Mission

To celebrate and elevate the voices of women from all cultures and backgrounds
To promote economic participation and wellbeing through workshops and education
To provide a welcoming space for authentic cultural expression and connection
To build bridges between communities and inspire cross-cultural solidarity

Who We Serve

Thrive is proudly open to all Victorians, regardless of gender, age, or background. While our focus is on uplifting multicultural women, we encourage the participation of non-CALD women, corporate leaders, allies, and men who are committed to equity, inclusion, and meaningful dialogue. This event is about creating a shared space for understanding, allyship, and celebration—for everyone who believes in the power of community and the importance of diverse voices.
